      Hi!

I grew up watching so many documentaries about the natural world and animals, that I instantly loved Biology. I spent a lot of time reading and watching Sir David Attenborough documentaries (Have you been watching the new Planet Earth?! Amazing!), so I really wanted to understand how things like animals and plants come to exist. I was really interested in cell biology, because cells are some of the building blocks of life!

Human cell biology lead me on to the human brain – which is one of the last great adventures scientists must undertake. Whilst there is a lot of research and science on the brain, we still don’t know how the brain works. This made me interested in the brain – and this is what I went to study at university! And I absolutely love it!
