Question: What's the part of the human brain that would bring out the most useful results/that would be the most efficient if transplanted into a robot? Why that specific one?
I am currently working on the sense of time – which is a bit weird right? Because we have no sensory system for time perception. I believe time is not only the most important ‘sense’, because it is involved in every single thought, action, memory or percept, but it’s also what makes us human.
Giving a robot such a sense, will allow us to stride forward in developing an intelligent artificial system.
That makes sense. The sense of time has always been a bit strange to talk about, or to me at least. It’s basically man made. But I get how understanding it makes us human.
Let’s say we managed to create robots that can precept time. What would be the next step?
