• Question: What sorts of signals does the brain use to communicate sensations, thoughts and actions?

      Hi!

      I am afraid I am not an expert (probably Darren can help) but my understanding is that they are electrical signals produced by chemical reactions. I do not know what exactly is different between the signal for a sensation, a thought and an action but I think they travel through different “channels” so that the brain interprets each of them differently.
