Well I think there is not “a point” of life, but when certain conditions are given, there is room for life to happen. I am not an expert but I think the main condition on Earth is the fact that there is water and Oxygen!

I don’t know that there is a “point” to life. But it just happens that conditions are right on earth for life to exist. Life Andres says, this is that there is water and the right atmospheric gases, and also because the temperature is about right because we are the right distance from the sun.
