      They use very thick layers of clothes and materials that isolate them thermally. Also, they use special constructions like igloos which are relatively warm inside!

      I think it’s all about layers of insulation to keep body heat close to the body rather than letting it spread into the wider environment. Similarly igloos will trap any heat they do generate from their bodies, or fires etc so that the enclosed space will be comparatively warm.
