Hi Zara. I do not no – given I believe in the scientific method, I have to also apply that to my personal views as well. As far as I am aware, there is zero evidence for a God or religious miracle-making figure, so I have to conclude that atheism is the most rational choice.
What I would say… is that I am not closed-minded about it all. Science is ever-changing, and facts become fiction, and fiction become facts with scientific inquiry. If there was t be any evidence of a God – then I would be change my views accordingly – but until then… I am in the atheist camp!
Not particularly. As Darren said, I find it difficult to believe in something that cannot be empirically tested. But I can understand how faith can be important for some people, and some people can have faith which is stronger than beliefs. Not my case though!
Not especially, though I have no problem with people having beliefs in whatever religion. Some of the things that are done because of religious beliefs though – that’s another matter!
