      This is very interesting. So the universe has a 4.9% of the normal matter that we see around us (neutrons, protons, electrons which make up the atoms and elements in the periodic table).

      Now, another 26.8% is made up of “dark matter”, which essentially is like the “normal matter” that I mentioned above, but with the difference that we cannot see it! All we know is that it exists and that it weights, because for example, it makes galaxies rotate faster than what we expect!

      Finally, the remainder 68.3%, is the so called “Dark energy”. This is something that we do not understand at all and that is why we give it this cool and mysterious name. All we know, is that it makes the universe grow faster and faster every second!!!
