• Question: HAVE YOU EVER EXPERIENCED A BAD DESISE

      Have I had a bad disease? Well, I’ve had the usual colds, coughs, etc and as a child I had chicken pox, German measles, mumps. But thankfully nothing really bad.

      And in my work now I don’t really have anything to do with disease, though I have had to go and do some admin/office work to support scientists working on controlling swine flu in the past, and more recently colleagues gave similar support to colleagues working on ebola. As a scientist you sometimes have to be versatile!

      I was got very ill while I was in India, apparently some bacteria that they could not identify. I had very high fever (41ºC,42ºC) for few days, but after a week on antibiotics I was much better!
