I’m too old to have GCSEs. I have “O’levels” – which were the exams before GCSEs. I was the last year to take O’levels. I took physics and chemistry O’levels and then I decided I wanted to do biology, so I studied it by myself over the summer holiday and started the A’Level biology class in the September, with the agreement that I would take the O’level resit exam in the November, and if I passed it I could continue the A’level, otherwise I would have to drop it. Thankfully I passed!

I did not study GCSE, I studied the International Baccalaureate (IB for short), for which we had to choose 6 subjects with at least, 1 first language, 1 second language, Mathematics, 1 Humanity and 1 Science and or 1 Art. I took two Sciences: Physics and Chemistry, and Mathematics.
