• Question: how does an animal brain work compared to a human brain?

      Hi!

      Animal brains work exactly the same as human brains! The only differences are the size of the brains and how many neurons there are in each brain. So, humans have big brains that have lots and folds and creases…. these folds and creases (coupled with the size of the brain) means there are more neurons to do more things. Animal brains (let’s say a Mouse) are much smaller and with much less developed areas of the brain, but the neurons talk to each other in the same way as human brains – theres not just as many!
