Studying disease could involve dissecting but I don’t do any dissecting in my field of work. I work with data that is collected from people. This data is usually information about a person’s lifestyle or medical history (either by asking them in surveys or using medical records) or sometimes measurements of taken from the person (for example, measuring their weight or taking their blood pressure).
